links in posts?

Post by ian »

It looks like I can't make a certain text link to somewhere without that text being the actual URL. Am I an idiot or is it something that needs to be fixed?

ok, you just have to add the actual url into the opening url tag

Code: Select all

[url=http://www.google.com]link to google[/url]

Yeah, it's a little different, but not to hard to get.

I usually just put the

Code: Select all

[url][/url]
tags out there, then add the TEXT

Code: Select all

[url]GOOGLE[/url]
and then paste the URL in there

Code: Select all

[url=http://www.google.com]GOOGLE[/url]
I also like having the {CODE} option. Allows us to show people how to add to the board much easier!
