Well, lets put it this way. It would be like trading a 95 with 16000 for a newer one with 6000 miles. :headscratch:

I have not had any calls either...... I dont really want to sell it.

Well if you don't really want to sell it then don't. I mean that's how I see it. You don't need the YZF and the fiz is paid for and looking good. I vote for keep it. Time to start a poll.

Agreed

I kinda would like something newer too, but I've put so much effort into the fizzer, that I would hate to see it go to just some shmo. It really is tempting every now and then, but what would you get from a newer bike? Not much really, maybe a couple extra horses, but the fizzer is no slouch, and when it comes to handling, well... need I say more? Throw that swingarm on it, it will be a huge improvement. (or just buy rage's already done bolt-on YZF swinger, bolt it up and forget it.) Trust me, this mod makes a HUGE difference to how the bike feels, and looks!

IDK This is the bike I'm currently drooling over: http://bcsportbikes.com/forum/showthrea ... ghlight=r1 not too crazy about the color, but that's easy enough to change. I just love those first gen R1s! But I'm sure I'll be over it by tomorrow. I kinda told myself that if I saw a bike that I just had to have, I'd wait at least a week. If I still really wanted it, then I might seriously consider it. But so far, the FZR has had nothing to worry about.

Yeah, the price IS ridiculous. Most of them up here in Canada are going for around 5K, but up here, bikes generally are quite a bit more expensive. Crazy seeing as how the $ is just about on par... Most dealers here still haven't lowered their prices, and as a result lots of people are going over the border to buy. The prices have been artificially high for so long, they're used to it, and don't want to let them go. And to boot, no dealer up here will even touch a US bike, let alone honour the warranty, in hopes of scaring people into paying the much higher local prices. screwy

Your all right. I do like mine a lot. And I have put lots of time and effort into it. Not only that, money! Ill leave it on there to see if I get any offers at the $3000 firm price. I know I have more than that in it. This YZF is really clean and unmolested.

Here's my buddies listing.

Forget what I said before, buy it! LOL2

Man you guys are lucky you can get bikes so cheap! That one looks to be in great shape! I wonder what tail mods are available for YZFs? That would be the only thing I would change.

:offtopic: How are you guys at 1000 posts already? I think _I_ have a problem with the amount of time I spend here, and I only have 50 posts to show for it. :headscratch:
