newbie question on engine cover

newbie question on engine cover

I just got a 95 fz6r and on the right side engine cover it is stamped INDY, part of it is rubbed off because the previous owner slide the bike. but in other pics of bike noone has INDY on their side engine cover. Any suggestions???

Sounds like an aftermarket (tougher, harder to punch through) cover.

ok, just wondered. i just got this thng, sure is difficult finding the front lower fairing for this machine!
