New to forum , got me another FZR 600

Hello Everyone, I am new to the Forum and Just picked up my second FZR 600, My first sportbike was a 89 FZR 600, and after trading it for a 4x4 POS truck, I couple years later bought a Suzuki GS500 was a great bike but just wasn`t to me a real sportbike and down on power even though I`m really not concerned with a real high Horsepower bike. I was pretty much Givin the Bike I have now which is a 94 dual round Headlight model. has been setting for a couple years and all the front upper and side fairings are missing, and the handle bar controls were messed up along with someone buggered up the ignition swithch, I have already ordered a new ignition switch, LH and RH handlebars with contols and both throttle cables, and got a new battery,

Night before last I put the battery in and twisted the ignition wires together and replaced the main harness fuse the motor turns over good but with no throttle cable couldn`t open the throttle to start and one carb was flooding over, I got the carbs pulled off today and they were varnished up not real bad but enough ya know.

If any of ya out there has a upper around headlight (dual round headlight) fairing good prices let me know, this the main fairing I want I could also use the side fairings also, don`t care what color design cause I`ll be painting them anyway. I`ll ride it without the side pieces but would like the headlight one first just looks cooler to ride with that piece on.

One more thing, are the sparkplug wires change able, I found one today that someone had taped up and butconnected together, I`m sure it worked but want to fix

Welcome to the forums. These FZRs are great bikes. I was dead set on an EX500 ninja until I sat on one and hated the balance on them. Not to mention they're around the same weight as the FZR 600 and minus about 30-40 horsepower. I have a single headlight FZR600 so I don't really have what you're looking for. From what I can tell, your best bet for finding the plastics you need is going to be eBay. Google is your friend as well. If you can't find good condition OEM plastics and are ok with aftermarket, the company airtech seems to make decent plastics for these bikes. I don't know what their turn around time is like since the plastics I have were already on the bike when i bought it, but they are of good quality. No 'garbage glass' as I've seen some people refer to them as. Good luck to ya.
