Previous owner hooked up battery backwards. Where do I start

Hello everyone. I've got my '88 FZR 750 back however my buddy accidentally hooked up the new battery backwards and it won't start now. Lights work but that's about it. Where should I start troubleshooting?
1993 FZR600
R6 Shock Mod
R6 Voltage Regulator
R1 Fender

1988 FZR750

Do you have spark on either channel? Does the fuel pump come on?

I don't know about the FZR750's TCI, but the Cali 600 boxes are ridiculously vulnerable to reverse installation - I have seen two of them where traces were fired and Zener diodes were popped. NOT good design practice, at all ... bonkonhead
