hi guys,
i bought my 87 fzr two weeks ago and love it however i came back from a ride and discovered it was slow turning over as you would find with a dying battery. i put the bike away and ordered a new batt as i knew it had been laid up before i bought it. so new batt arrives added acid charged expecting the usual vroom n nothing just a solienoid click which i have tested and its working. im stumped on this one ive checked all connections are tight and corrosion free. im just puzzled as to why it would act like a dying batt. would a dying starter motor absorb the charge and mimic this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: no power to starter
Measure the dc voltage across the battery with the key and kill switch on, engine off.
