looking for a cdi box for a 1987-88 750rt

Post by 87fzr750r »

Hello Im looking for a digital ignitor(cdi box) for my 87 750rt. Does anyone know where i could locate one? new or used.
I need one asap. It seems to be like finding a needle in a haystack. Mr cycle discontinued them awhile back. they are usually my go to place for bike parts. Trying to sell the bike so if anyone on here is interested this will be the real deal once i get this part. Does anyone know if the box from other yamahas would work? if so what are they?

thanks!

Sparker TCIP4. If you have the EXUP valve get the unit with servo driver capability(135 euro)

The photo is an example-looks like it has a Honda connector.

Email them with your brand/model/year. They may ask for a photo of your connector. They have most connector styles. And base maps for many bikes.

Yes, it WILL work.
