Seat information about a '94 FZR600

Ok so I got myself a '94 FZR600, and the seat is throwing me for a loop. It came with a beat up old seat that just sits on the bike, and there is no seat lock or latch. I was looking at replacements and also the seat latch. So I have three questions:
1) Will a new seat lock work with my ignition key?
2) Can I get a seat with a seat latch instead of lock?
3) Can I opt for the 2 piece driver/passenger seat or am I limited to the one piece 2 person seat?

You can buy a used seat and latch from eBay. The lock will be different but that should be ok...

So the seat i have is a 1piece driver/passenger seat. Any idea what the stock seat is on my bike? Ebay has a lot of 2 piece seats that won't fit with the body work i have... Does that mean the plastic was modded to accommodate the 1 piece seat and I am limited to that now?
