Putting a r6 tail on do I need the r6 seat and tank as well

Hello. I'm putting a 99 r6 tail on my 89 fzr 600. Do I have to change the seat and gas tank as well?
Seat yes if you want it to match without a big gap then do the tank. But check the wiki as there's a write up on this.
