hi, ive just recently bought a 1993 fzr600 but the rear brake is stupidly squeaky!

ive had it off and checked and lubricate all the necessary parts and the pads are like new but still the sqeak continues >:(
what i did notice when i removed the pads is that they were shiney.
the bike has also had a new disc fitted but it looks like its bedded in :s

any ideas???

get yourself a bit of emery paper, lay it flat and give the pads a rub over it, might be worth wetting it and giving the discs a bit of a light rub too. they probaly just need using for a bit.

put a dab of disc brake quiet (or anti squeal not sure what they call it over there) on the pistons and that should take care of the squeal
