89 to 95 frame swap

i have an 89fzr i picked up cheap with no title.bike works awsome.i have a chance to get a 95 frame with clear title.will it swap out?

If the '95 is a 3HE 600 (i.e. NOT a 4JH Foxeye - not sure how Canada received these models), the swap will be direct as the frames are identical. :thumbsup:

Have him send you a pic. If it looks like yours, it will work. If it looks like the YZF, it won't. The confusion arises because some markets received the Foxeye badged as an FZR. Others, such as the U.S., received the same bike badged as a YZF (i.e. the U.S. model '95 / '96 YZF600). In other words, in the U.K. for example, the '95 FZR600 is what we here in the state would call a YZF600. Our '95 FZR600 is more or less the same as the '89.

Put the pic here. We'll be able to tell right away.

You can also have your bike titled as a custom bike and change the vin. Its real easy and cheep. That's how I did my 02 R1 with no title. Ground the vin off and restamped the new one and its all legal, in GA anyways.
