Well guys, I dont feel like looking around for an upper fairing for my bike anymore. They seem almost impossible to find. So I'm caving to new ideas. I really like the way the stock fairing looks with the single headlight and was thinking of just buying an airtech racing one, cutting out the light and being done with it. Has anyone done this? If so how did you measure where the headlight should be? What did you use to cut it out?
My next thought is to get the airtech fairing and put a totallt different headlight setup on it. I know where to find the wiring diagrams, so with that being said. Anyone have any ideas on how I could configure some lights? I am open to sugestions so if you have an idea or a picture then let it rip!

The best thing would be to have someone make a template from their single headlight fairing so you could easily cut yours out of the Airtech racing one if you use the stock headlight.
An issue with the 91-92 fairing and different headlights is that you'll have to do extensive fab work to make the light(s) shine straight since the fairing is angled.
Just cut the fiberglass with a Rotozip. Also, a hand-held angle grinder with a thin masonry or metal cutting blade works well with straight cuts.

You could always just use a different headlight. This one happens to be an OEM Yamaha, just not for the US market.

It is for sale by the way.

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.
Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....
I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....
