front sprocket nut

hey guys, sorry aint been round in a while been busy, but good to be back
anyway was wondering if anyone has a pic of the front sprocket with the nut on? havent took the cover off yet but i think my nut has fallen off, but my mate wanted a pic, why? not sure

but i said i would

sorry no pic but the nut should have been held by a tabbed spline washer locking it on to the output shaft of the engine

oh ok mate, well i havent had the cover off yet, but looking through i can see the sprocket but cant see no nut or anything? alls i can see is the threads, ill have to rip the cover off but wont have time til next week, should i see the threads? if not i can order a new nut etc and have them for next week for when i sort it out

no harm having a new one & lock tab washer & DO NOT RIDE THE Bike before investigating further

thanks george, managed to take cover off and touched the sprocket and it fell off!!!
safe to say the sprocket isnt in a ver good condition

R,
Yup they are the bits needed, this time make sure and torque the nut down properly to spec & lock by lifting "an ear" on the washer to lock against the nut on pref two sides

get that sorted asap! Ordered them.. Was wondering do u know where in uk to get some rear sprocket carrier barrings? Looked all over the net with no luck, and the yam stealer near me is useless

I deal with an outfit called "simply bearings co uk" you will have to give them the bearing universal number OR the dimensions which from the WIKI says the sprok carrier for a 600 are 22mm i/d, 56mm o/d, 16mm thick

Go to any bearing house, ask for a 63/22-2RS.

Don,
-2RS = Rubber Sealed on both sides belt & braces just like me,as the sprock carrier has a separate oil/dust seal :-}
