Yep I bet your VR took a dump on you. I have a feeling it was overcharging and booked your battery dry then started down the line. Are you bulbs still in tact? Does your bike have the pre 95 "candy bar" style VR? Your ignitor might be gone too.
Chris.

There is a guy on the forum called DonTZ125. He does TCI repair and everything. Search him out for the electrical stuff it's out of my league now. Sorry.
Chris.

Kilika - Thanks for the kind words!
Cam - can you post some pics of the ignitor? I can fix some things, but a sufficiently fried TCI is just that - fried. The TCI should control the stock fuel pump through the main relay assembly, unless the relay is also dead. 6psi is a little high; you only need 2 or 3. Any bike carb fuel pump will do the job. Is it the pump or the relay that's "at a a dead short"?
If you are going to keep this bike, the first thing to do is get rid of that VRR. Replacing anything else at this point is a fool's errand, since the VRR will just kill it again. If you have the old 4-pin VRR, you should upgrade to the newer 5-pin design. Shameless advert - I sell an adaptor to make this a near plug'n'play experience.
