Yes I currently have the stock mirrors on and i would like to upgrade them. I was doing a search on the forums and found out alot of people use the YZF mirrors. Now with the YZF mirrors can i see with them without having to tuck in my elbows or shoulders? Please respond back thanks

L,
that really depends on you I am 6'-2" and about 200lbs these days and I have no problem with stock mirrors or the after market ones I have now (the PO destroyed the LH one so.....)
The hassle most guys get with after market jobs is they are longer stemmed and on the birdcage (fairing brace) tends to vibrate so vision goes blurred.

The YZF mirrors (EMGO) have some great benefits - they're rectangular, so more can be seen and they are well-built so unlike many cheap aftermarket brands, they don't shake uncontrollably.

I have what's probably one of the cheapest aftermarket sets you can get (the stuff you'll find heaps of on fleabay), and it's still not that bad. Sure, they do get a bit blurry (using both their own and the stock mount), but I never felt the need to do anything about it.
I can't imagine going back to stock ones. I mean, sheesh, I don't need to tuck my elbows in AND I can actually see behind me. And they don't look that bad, either...

LF,
YUP, thanks that works, nice job those mirrors certainly look good, the bike colour is unusual for an FZR reminds me of my "Yellow Peril" new technology upgrade project '80 RD400.
