im swapping engines on my '91 fzr 600. i was tolled that i should buy the YZF 600 one. if i did that is there anything that needs to be swapped out also. like my coils, or coolant assembly. i didnt know if it just drops right in and bolts up to my coolant and my engine mounting bolt spots. and have my clearances that i need., or if there is little fabricating to do on it. for it to fit, and run right.

It will bolt right up, but you will need everything else that is attached to it :: wiring harness, radiator, carbs, headers, etc...

Just to emphasize Darren's comment about the wiring harness - the FZR ignitor box and the YZF crank rotor are incompatible. You simply will NOT get spark. banghead

To further emphasize what Don and Darrin said...you'll need EVERYHING except the frame and suspension to do the swap. But youll want the suspension since it pretty much bolts up.

Just to clarify what Duane is saying. At least for the swing arm, but bolt up he means you are going to have to bust the Angle grinder out for a little bit only instead of a lot.
