FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

Okay so I bought a 94 FZR6 off a local and he said it ran fine but he put it on a trickle charger at night because after about fifty miles if you turn it off it wont turn back on because the battery is drained he said it was the coils. I took it to two of my friends both work at different shops and they said it was the battery, bought a new onebut it does the same thing or even if it's running and i pull in the clutch while slowing down or put in neutral(around the 50 mark) it'll die out and leaves me stranded. Anyone know of a possible problem? I feel its not the coils cause it does run fine (when running)

Yeah but im not sure if it's the harness

I would go though and test with a voltmeter and ohm tester. Also check the wires from the stator. Mine wouldn't start when i first got it the 3 wires were bunted toghter i re wired havnt had a problem since then.
