Idea for the EXUP guys....

Back when I used to visit the Archives (before they went down the first time) I was reading that as a general rule you don't like to put replacement full exhausts on the EXUP bikes, as it removes your exup valve.
It occurred to me today that the stock 06-08 R6 exhaust can (can be had on eBay pretty cheap) had the EXUP valve in it, so someone who wanted to open up their exhaust could use a V&H or comparable header and can with a custom mid-pipe housing the stock R6 EXUP valve. You'd have a better flowing exhaust while retaining your low end power gains (and probably smog-compatibility) of the EXUP valve.
Just a random thought I had while thinking of my bike at work (as opposed to actually working), and I didn't know if anyone had thought of it before.
So there's the idea.
Comments?
