How to install progressive fork springs?

Also i want to put the progressive springs in my front forks. I seen a little note on progressive website that says stock spacers may need to be shortened to fit. Do I need to shorten them? Or can i just put the progressive springs right in?

Check the height of the new springs against the old one.

I would like to ask why you are considering that particular mod as it is not the best value for money as far as front suspension goes
