FZR 600 shock problem(after swingarm swap)

On my FZR 600 92 I put only swingarm and wheel from Yamaha FZR 600 94 (I dont change the shock)...(now rear wheel is 17 x 5.00)

Rear shock dont work.... :headscratch: What is the problem..??

Left swinarm is old( '92), right is new ('94)...

Both swingarm's are 4.5". What do you mean "the rear shock doesn't work"?

When I ride bike - it is to hard....the swingarm go up only 2-3mm....like its fixed....probably because they are longer then old...but how to fix it?

I meant *rims. But i just realized you are from overseas and aren't talking about a swinger from a '94 YZF swinger(stateside).

the shock mounting point it a longer distance from the pivot, so it will affect movement and the angle the shock sits at. What it the ride height difference from old to new? different dog bones may help cure the problem by bringing the levels back to normal.

I have longer and shorter and original dog bones....a try all and is the same .... banghead

You need a softer spring on the shock. This happens after swinger swaps unfortunately...

Can I get softer shock if I change the shock angle ??
