Hello to all friends of fzr online. Well I live in Brazil Sao Paulo have a FZR 600 1995, recently had a problem with the fuel pump d it, as I did not find the original, I put one of LANDER YAMAHA, as it is 3.0 bar which is very strong in her original is 0.3 bar. Well at the exit from the tank into the pump put a return type of T and the fuel line of fuel put a tap for regulating the pressure, it seems that it worked, but I noticed that when I give it an accelerated type 160 km / h over it a bit begins to fail, but then I open the faucet all and solves nothing! Well that will be sailing? or coil?? or part of equalization? Well I thank everyone's attention if they can help me with information and would appreciate if send me pictures of her fuel line and parts of the carburetor, manual of it ....

A big hug to all friends

Marlon,
welcome to the board, please put your location in your personal profile for future reference.

Because the world market for FZR's varies so much at the time yours was made a picture of the bike would help us identify it as being the same as another year in our part of the world.

Any small electric fuel pump will work for you (the one you chose is putting the carbs under a lot of wear& tear) because of excess pressure

There is a search facility on the board where this has been talked about and done see:-

Thanks
Y-Geo.

If it's a us 600 then it's right at 3.5 quarts. With filter, which is 3.31 or so. Filter and oil vary. Do you have Castrol semi-synthetic in Brazil? Or purolator filters? That is what I use in the states.

Chris.

Hi,
take a look in the WIKI for the Oil Filter cross reference shows a whole load of different makes that work .
I use K& N but I used to be a dealer so.......................

also see:-
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=234&p=76452&hilit=h ... vic#p76452

Honda civic cars seem to be in every darn country so an oil filter for them you can use :-)

Oh as a matter of Netiquette here on the forum THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED shouting so before someone is offended please type in lower case letters unless you are pointing to the WIKI or SEARCH facility on the site.

Thanks and good luck getting your filter. As to oil I have no idea of what brands you have over there.BUT do not buy an oil unless it is made for WET clutches in motor bikes. Some car oils have chemicals added that make it more slippery and that will not allow your bike clutch to work properly and will cost you a new set of clutch plates to get it working again !
