Pod Filter Tuning, Who Knows?
So which one of you blarmy pirates knows how to tune for pod filters? I'm figuring I just need to go up a main jet size or two, and drop the needle a peg. But if there is something more, please inform me. I just picked up a pair of K&N's for 10 bucks. Oh at a local salvage yard an FZR has a Fox shock, and V&H side covers, if anyone wants me to pick them up for them.

You're lucky YG is on the disabled list, or he'd be throwing rocks at you about using the search function. Tuning the mid-range with pods is EXTREMELY difficult, unless you maintain the proper intake tract length.
Search for 'pods' and 'length' and 'yamaha_george'

V&H side covers are mine! So is Fox. So I might want to either depart with my Racetech R6 shock, or the Fox.
Re: Pod Filter Tuning, Who Knows?
this seems like such a simple solution compared to everything else. theres gotta be a hitch. the yzf tank will still fit and everything?yamaha_george wrote:Thank You Blensen I am glad people read what I have gone to some lengths to make available before I depart this mortal coil and it is lost forever !
