Idling/Starting Issue

Alright so im back again. I thought my bike was good to go for a bit, until i went to go to the store and she wouldnt start, just kept cranking.
I checked everything, had gas, plenty of power, everything. So i pushed it down my driveway and it started but only for a short amount of time. So i tried to start it regularly again and it fired up but was putting at very low rpms and had some black smoke coming out the tail pipe. Then it finally sorted itself out. This is the first time ive ever seen smoke come out of my exhaust. I also noticed my bike was back-firing intermittently for some reason and was running like complete crap.

Is there anything i can do to try and remedy this? Possibly a valve adjustment is needed? Carb sync? Timing? Im not sure on what to do. Thanks Guys! :notworthy:

Not knowing what you have already done I would guess that you need to thoroughly clean the carbs.

Black smoke=rich condition. As Rotortech stated, the carbs probably need a cleaning. You could have a stuck float from build up of some kind. Might want to synch them while you're at it.
