FZR600 water hoses?

Hi,
Came across this :-

and wondered if they would work with the FZR 600 hoses ?

i haven't checked, the hoses diameter, but it would probably work, the only problem i see is visiblilty of the gauge

Why do you guys in the USA and GB not move over to the SI / metric system
