stock length

what is the stock length of the black bar that goes from the swing arm to the top of the brake... thanks

Why ?
The closer the 2 pivot lengths ( swing arm length and the brake arm length ) are the less likely the braking action is to have on the rear suspension.
GP bikes are a prime example of this where the brake arm is attached to the frame and set parallel to the swing arm. If the bike is canted over in a corner the last thing you need is locked suspension due to you tapping the rear brake to point and squirt an apex and then hit a road ripple .

I think he stated it was too long becuase the original poster is wanting to see if his current parts will work with the stock swingarm. He's selling the long swingarm.

Darrin,
that looks like a stock swinger (albeit alloy)in the photo no sign of extra welds ?
either way my comments about the set up of brake arms is valid.

Yeah, I'm curious as well about the no welds, but it is a 6" longer swingarm than stock.
