I need to order a stand and discount ramps has one for 50. bucks that will convert to front or rear, spool or non spool . I believe its called the all in one. Any body have any knowledge of these? Also in the manual it looks like a bolt going up the fork tube on the left side of the fzr? Will this not leave the hole for the stand pins to grab the front end on that side? I cant look at mine cause I'm outta town working. Id like to order so it will be there when I get home and can start tear down. Thanks

I've just watched the video on their site http://www.discountramps.com/all-in-one ... -stand.htm

When converted to lift the front end, the holes in the bottom of both forks are used. Every stand I've saw advertised that lifts the front end in that way states "must be used in conjunction with a rear paddock stand" or something similar. The first time I used my front stand I didn't use the rear one, the bike was unstable for my liking.

Take your time before you buy, wait for other members input.

That's why they advocate the use of a rear stand in conjunction. It makes things pretty rock solid. The only stand you won't need a rear with is the kind that lifts from below the steering neck, not from the forks.

That's what I meant, I always use both if I'm lifting the front now.

So for 30 more bucks and they throw in another part with the wheels and then you have both the front and back stand. Both for 80 plus shipping. Seems like a decent deal for some cheap stands. Thanks for the responses I think I'll get it with the additional part to make 2 stands.

I have a set of Pitbulls stands. Even with their "pin" front stand, you need a rear stand to help stabilize the bike.
