Hey Guys. I may be going to look at an FZR in a few days. I've already got a YZF600R and a YZF1000R, but I'm not familiar with these bikes. I was hoping one of you could look at these pics and let me know if you can tell if anything is obviously wrong with it. I know they're not the best pics, but they're all I've got access to. Also, is the anything specific I should be looking out for when I go check it out?

Thanks guys!

Sometimes you just need to keep looking... that's my advice. That bike looks like it went through hell and came out the other side. Unless you buy it for $100, I wouldn't touch it.Mitragorz wrote:if you can tell if anything is obviously wrong with it.
Thanks for joining and participating in the most "active" FZR Community on the internet!

Thanks for that. I tend to jump the gun on things,
. I bought my YZF1000R last January for $1350 as a project, and a year later, I'm way over budget and it's still not done...
Anyway, is there anything that really stuck out at you? Besides the mis-matched fairings. I'm trying to learn a bit about these bikes, I'd love to get my hands on a FZR.

I would advise to look for one that's original cos with a bike like that you would never know what's missing or been modified with these older bikes you are always going to be looking at repairs so you don't want to start with half a bike
