The world may never know. The problem is, there are very few documented cases where someone has owned an FZR for a lifetime of riding and has always taken good care of it.
It could be 100,000 miles or more if really taken care of and all maintenance schedules, according to the manual, have been followed.

So im assuming on average probally 50,000 miles would be fair guess, just curious cause i may buy one used from a guy, but it has 28,000 miles on it, seems like alot of miles, would prefer one with half of that.

A motor with 28k is a lot, especially since you have no idea how well it was taken care of. Hopefully you're getting it for the right price.

A guy round the corner from me has a 93 fzr600 with over 40k miles on the clocks its a genuine non molested example and not been hammerd , id say ridden quick and it purr's like a cat and as ive riden it a few times after servicing it for him it has plenty of power ...like anything you own treat it well and it'll last much much longer

Pretty hard to find one with 15,000 miles or less on it. Im just finishing up my 400 hybrid mods and need to start thinking of what motor i want to put in it.

mine had 44000 miles on it, and i rode it hard, but always kept the oil topped off and changed it regularly. at around 42000 it started eating oil but never missed a beat. theres an example for you

Thanks for that example. Having a hard time deciding if i want to stick with my stock 400 motor, or drop a 600 in
, see if i can find a 600 with 15,000 or under.
