I measured the temperature of my cylinders after I just finished synchronizing with my new digital laser temperature gun. I noticed that the temps seems to rise from cylinder 1 to 4. I started to wonder if that was due to how the water circulates? I measured"
Cylinder Temp
1 465F
2 506F
3 550F
4 565F
Measured roughly 2 inches from the flange at the bend of the pipe.
Anybody see anything like this?

From my notes way back earlier this year my spread was only 80 degrees but they did rise 1-4 as well but I was outside and the wind was from the cylinder 1 side so I just said not bad .

Well it is running very well. I just took it to the DMV for emissions testing before I get it registered and it passed! I now am ready for the road.

What RPM was the bike at while you did the test? Those number seem a little high, but not terrible.
Is the bike hard to start?

I'd say your good to go, adjusting the mixture screw on #1 could increse the temperature. Personally I wouldn't worry too much, she runs that's the main thing.

Hi sorry for the delay in posting.....teps taken after bike was at operating temp but at idle. Starts right up. I dont think I will mess with the fuel mixture screws since it runs well and I dont have a gas analyzer....I feel all I would do is screw it up....
I am loving riding again......the cruiser V-twin just does not do it for me..........I need a well handling and good accelerating machine!
