Hi i cant get front cover off to change the front sprocket or am i missing something, undone all the allen bolts is there anything else holding in place thanks Peter

It should pop right off. There is one bolt that is not very well visible on my fzr600 (us spec).

Just check again with a light and make sure you didn't miss any bolts. If you did get all the bolts then the gaskets are holding it on. Use a prying device and be careful not to damage the parts while prying the cover off.

There is one in the 3 oclock. (Longer than the rest) and then 1 at 5, 7, 11, and 1 o clock. Then also the shifter linkage needs to come off. Should be a 12mm bolt holding it on.

Here is the back and you can see the holes where there are hex bolts. It's the only pic I had sorry that it is backwards and I can't circle them because they are in my gallery and not on this computer.

I'm guessing (ain't had my sprocket cover off yet) there are @ least Two locating dowels between the crank casings & sprocket cover, causing the difficulty in removing it.

Yep, 2 they are both to the left of the top most and bottom most rear bolt holes in my picture. So on the bike they are just behind the 1 and 5 o clock bolts. Everyone confused yet. Haha

Nope Haha.

Therefore a very large hammer, using great big swings will sort it J/K

use a rubber mallet or wooden shaft with WD40 applied close to the dowels, tap away to break the corrosion.

yep big rubber hammer did the job ,it was stuck on the dowels thanks for help Peter
