Front TIRE size

Was wondering if anyone has gone to a bigger or different size front tire on the stock rim? Normal size is 110/70/17. will a 120/70/17 fit the stock rim?

A 120 will fit, yes.

Yes on my 92 1000 I have a 130 profile on the front and a 180/55 on the rear. I like the meatier look, however the bike is a bit reluctant to turn, especially on tight transitions.. very stable @ speed in level flight though
