I was riding down the road at 55 and the bike lost all power at once. (1994 FZR) No lights,no horn no power period. I checked the fuses under the seat and all were good. Getting 12.4 volts at the battery. Any advice on where to start or what may be the problem. Thanks

The same thing happened to me. You probably blew the main fuse because of a ruined voltage regulator. The main fuse is under the left side of the tail plastics. If you have the pre-95 VR I would replace it as soon as possible with one from any YZF whether it is actually blown or not.

If the main fuse has blown, your VR is also fried, the VR WILL kill your electrics!!!!
1. Replace the VR ASAP
2. Then replace the main fuse

What do you guys think of this as a replacement? Is it a viable one as opposed to the YZF vr?
