Hi.
the FZR 600 is 220mm across the swing arm pivot I would imagine the 1K is bigger and probably the same as the YZF .

There are other FZR swing arms that allow bigger tyres that are actually ridable take a look at :-

for ideas

Based on that, you are basically saying you don't want to do the swap you just asked about either. The 1000 swingarm is wider than the YZF and getting it to fit in the FZR frame could involve modding the frame-equaling more work to achieve the same result as the YZF mod.

save ur self the hassle and just do a YZF600R swingarm and wheel . And if your from Detroit ill even give you a YZF swingarm to start with for nothing ..
you need
YZF600R SWINGARM < complete with axle and spacers
THE WHEEL FOR IT along with the cush drive /sprocket carrier
A ZX6 front sprocket
yzf REAR SPROCKET or bore the holes on a FZR600 < i went with 520 setup>
it mounts perfectly only have to move the rear brake mount to the side oe remount it somwhere else if you prefer
Cut the pivots on the swingarm , reinstall the bearing go buy a 185/55 r17 tire and VIOLA you got a fatter tire < even though most around here would not recommend that size and would tell you to play it safe and slap a 170/55 r17 on there

Otherwise your looking at machining and hacking into frame for clearence .
I wasnt the first by far . or didnt go the cheapest route but with winter coming up <if it snows in ur neck of woods> you can source the parts dirt cheap even nice used ones once in a while ..
Dont get me wrong .. Doing one off is the shiznit and but copying off somone else is still self gratifying once finish is done and you see what youve accomplished .. You will be happy trust me
