my fzr is jellous! :( wont start

I got a newer, fz1 1000 and I have not ridden mi bike in a week.. I added seafoam to the tank(THIS HAS TO BE THE PROBLEM) one day, started it up, ran fine.. I added half a bottle and the other half went to my bike. I think I used a high concentration on the fzr... the next day i tried to start it and it flooded... it would not start for the life of it... i cranked cranked until a huge BOOM came out of the exhaust.. so i left it alone. I removed the pod filters and closed the fuel petcok. I tried today again, no start again!? Opened the gas.. same thing! Could it be extremelly flooded? Its over 98 degrees in the day.. I would imagine it would start.

Oh when it did start it sounded like if it was running on two cyl only..and it would not rev up. I assume its flooded..

Oh I drained the fuel tank, tried to start, then refilled with fresh non seafoamed fuel.. same thing.

It has spark.. but no go.. any tips?

I would say that the plugs are either too wet to fire due to flooding OR they are dirty because the seafoam has loosened the crap in the cylinders & fouled them.

New plugs gapped correctly and put on the bike once the gas is turned off and the cylinders & carbs are no longer flooded.

WARNING do not remove all the plugs to dry out the engine as this can cause fires & explosions as the petrol charged atmosphere under the tank cover will linger and one spark...........................

I concur on the plugs diagnosis, that's exactly what mines does when it needs plugs

YES! It was the plugs, they were fouled.. seafoam must have cleared some crap up in there.

On a side note, now my fzr feels very light and low to the ground compared to my fz1.

Im going to teach my dad how to ride a motorcycle in the fzr, weee.

Do you really wanna answer questions such as "does a chicken wire air filter help my performance?"
