i have an 88 fzr 400 with a 95 yzf 600 motor swapped in. now it has one of those digital wireless bike speedos on i now but it doesnt work, i see the reciever tied to the fork but i dont see that magnet which is supposed to be on the wheel somewhere
now i want to put the regular speedo back in, the problem is that i dont see where the speedo cable would attach anywhere on the forks. i have the stock fzr 400 front forks on it, is the speedo attachment somewhere on the yzf 600 motor?

Re: few questions about speedo and speedo cable
The speedo drive is a kind of 'spacer' with a threaded output on the left side of the front wheel spindle, between fork and wheel. Some people bin them and fit a plain spacer when the fit electronic clocks.
Re: few questions about speedo and speedo cable
i went and took a look at it and it appears i dont have the speedo drive anymore, just a flat spacer. are the fzr 400 and fzr 600 speedo drive / speedo cable/ speedometer all interchangeable between eachother?
