FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

Hey guys! So I'm totally not a mechanical guy (I'm learning more and digging in by experience as I go) and I'm having a problem maybe someone could help with.

I bought my fzr (1998 600r) and when I start the bike the lights do not come on. To turn them on I have to tap the start button (no, not on the nintendo controller) and they pop on. It's been fine, but now they're going out mid-ride.

Any ideas what that might be? Is that too vague? Should I just bring it into a shop?

No shop, The starter switch is getting stuck. There are multiple threads about this. Take the right hand control apart and I bet you find out the the 2 wires have become un-soldered. Fix that and ride on into the sunset with no problems.
