Extra hole in Front Fairing for 91-92

Post by syvmn »

Hey guys. I have a quick question that may have been brought up before. If so I apologize.

I have a 91-92 front fairing and there is a smaller hole above the headlight and I'm not sure what it is for. It's about 3" x 1.5" or so.

Thanks for any help.

They blocked it off and didn't use that hole to my knowledge. Some bikes, like the 1ks did use it for the day light.

I'm pretty certain a 1k light would work in there.

Same headlight and running light as the 91-93 1k. It was a euro option only and not used in the US hence the block off panel.
