no fire on 2 and 3

Hey everyone my bike lost fire on cylinders 2 and 3 did some trouble shooting and found out its my digital ignitor. I opened it up and wow its fired. I tested the circuits and the i have good connections from the transistor and the compents it goes to. So here is my question. where can I get a new transistor? Or a used Digital Ignitor that has been replaced in the past maybe I can rob the parts out it it.

sounds like a voltage regulator problem, upgrade that to the R6 with fins, there are tons of write ups

and you can get a new ignitor, try to post in parts wanted, TK should have what you need

I had a feeling my vr was going out before I parked the bike. It has set for close to a year thanks to a DUI. and its time for me to be able to drive and ride again soon. So I am going to get the digital ignitor and get it running again they see if my vr is bad.

fix the VR first, otherwise same thing is going to happen

I just addressed this for another guy with (possibly) a blown TCI. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6300&p=61915#p61915 The Darlington transistors used in the TCI are old tech; the new IGBTs are much harder to kill, and the Bosch BIP373s have stood up nicely in deliberate destruction testing by the guys on the MegaSquirt sites!

don you are the S@#t man! I am ordering two of them now. and I hope they will be in by this weekend. But I am still not going to fire it up until I find me a VR.
