well we just finished the 107 motor build in my buddys wide glide, while my heads are still at the machine shop i took out the FZR and we went riding when it came back from the dyno... WOW is that sucker fast! he was walking on me and i was poping though gears seamless... ureal! so i tossed in a K&N, and have a new front gear to toss in to keep up if not pull on him... sucked getting spanked while on a rocket! but as they say, every road must turn... and as soon as we hit some twisties i pulled on him like he was parked on the side of the road. man i am amazed how well the FZR will corner, even slammed in the front and rear as low as i have it... very impressed!

some say it is the different tire sizes thast help it corner so well.

what the heck Hardley was that? my brother cannot out run my FZR and his is the 1200 sportster, Corners well he I would have to get off and push to be as slow as that tractor LoL

I dont care how built it was, Id NEVER admit I got beat by a Hardley. -2 points to your man card

DONT use first.....launch against him in second...fan the clutch to keep revs around 8k or so and you should be able to keep him alongside you until he starts to run out of top end..or starts banging his rev limiter trying not to fall behind.

My bud Bill has a full custom/slammed chopper. 118c.i. S&S...about 200 pounds under a wide glide....he CANNOT get in front of me..he can hang..but NOT pull me..and at 115 or so, I wave bye bye.

i will have to try that... 2nd huh... ill do just that. thanks bud. a 1200 sporty does not have as much umph as a built 107 or a built 95... hell on my stage 1 88 i was smashing on sportys... but it will be a whole new world when i put my motor back in this weekend!

Yup, MrPp mybrother thought he could run away on the hiway (motorways over here ) about 70 so I let him have 50 yards down shifted 7 sat on his tail so he gasses up so do at about 110 Iii pull it for serious bye bye and up to 134 clock then see traffic ahead so let it slow down. this is Bill's/......Twisted Choppers frame/swinger(hidden softail). Carbureted 118 S&S mill. Four inch open belt primary, Six speed baker right hand drive. 240mm rear. NO excess.

Very nice! here is another one of my v twins, built for my brother, runs a revtech 110... we got a bunch of chops and HD's that is why i really wanted to build a sport bike for once, always working on V twins!

I have a fatBoy 88 wth screaming eagle upgrades.. a rockin 75 HP and almost 700lbs.. I beat this mountain bike the other day. j/k My harley is S_L_O_W i can't beat some fast cars. BUt It's really pretty and has a really nice low rumble that i like.. I rode it to work today i didn't go faster than 65.. If i took the r6 I would hve done 110. It's good for my license and insurance costs.
