Digital Ignitor????

Ok I'm pretty sure my digital ignitor is fubarred on my 92 FZR600. The case is all cracked from someone trying to pry it open, plus it has a burnt smell to it. Plus if I have the key in the on position it gets pretty darn hot! Is there an aftermarket alternative or something better to use? Or just replace it with a stock one?
