can the peanut cover and stator covers be removed without oil loss? mine are scratched up and I'm wanting to sand them smooth and paint them.

I know the stator can , not sure about the peanut..... RRBike
I dont ride fast ...I fly really low .....

All the oil should drain to the lower case so yes you could.

You will only notice a few drops. Make sure to clean the area really good before you seal them back on.

No on the stator...I don't remember on the peanut, its been like 2 years. If you have it on the kickstand though I doubt you'll see much.
