brake fluid on frame

i think the po spilled what appears to be brake fluid all over frame in a few spots was wondering if wet sanding with a very fine grit sand paper would take the stains off the painted section of frame without taking the paint completely off what ever got spilled wont comeoff with wd40 or simple green any ideas would be great thanks

Probably not. There isn't a very thick layer of paint on these frames. I would sand or strip and prepare to spot spary what you need to. And if anyone have a frame paint code and an engine cover (stator, starter, clutch etc) paint code I could use it as well.

Just discovered the frame has a clear coat finish, light wet sanding with 1200 grade wet and dry, then clear coat may do the trick.
