Ok so I checked my coil packs & here are the results...

primary coil 2.3 ohm between red/white & orage wires
secondary coil won't read anything

primary coil .4 ohm between red/white & grey
secondary coil won't read anything

tried to test the coil caps but it won't read anything... all 4 are this way.

so I'm guess it's time for new coil packs?

You have the coils and cylinders mixed up. I'm just making sure it's a typo. The coil on the left (sitting on the bike) fires 2&3 and the right 1&4.

On your secondary reading, you shouldn't get anything. Did you change the dial on the meter. It will give you no reading if you try to check it on ohms. It has to be on kilo-ohms.

Also the primary coil reading is iffy, can you recheck that?

yeah my mistake on the coil numbers... didn't even think about it when I posted.

On secondary reading, no I never changed the dial so I'll have to try that again.

I'll recheck the primary readings agian
