Wheelie's result in power loss?!

Post by stuntinFizzer »

Hey guys, so i pretty much fixed my WOT issue, airbox wasnt even attached to the carbs. Alot of swearing, boiling water and hose clamps and she is all good, and she rips! But my problem is when i try to "clutch it up" In first, 50% of the time it will do it perfectly, right up to balance point and then i puss out, 25% of the time it will kinda bob the front wheel up and sputter and then i have to clear it out by getting on and off the throttle rapidly, and the other 25% of the time the bike will just completely die out, and again bog and sometimes shut off and I will have to sit for a while before i can fire er' back up.
The
some info on the bike, 1993 600, R1 front brake assembly and MC, R6 rear swing arm, 14/47 520 chain, stock airbox, straight piped banghead , stock jets. tail and subframe is chopped right after the rear seat, so alot of electronics are under the rear seat.

I put a new battery in it, and a used pre 95 VR in it, but idk if the VR is working or not, checked the voltage at 4k on the battery and it was around 15 and 16 volts.

Im stumped guys

Your VR is fried, and your TCI will be soon. Fix it.

Agreed You might be lucky if that is all you loose with the VR in that shape.
