hey guys i am in the home stretch hope to fire her up tonight, i need a few things, i need the torque specs on the headbolt cover, and a picture of the inside of the stator cover, i can not remember how this sucker whent back together! i know i know... there are just a ton of parts to these sport bikes!!!! ha ha ha i miss my simple V twins durring re assembly!!!

The torque specs that you need should be in the Factory Service Manual. I think its in the Wiki info or on the Archives site (sorry Darrin). The inside of the stator cover as I recall should be pretty straight forward. The magneto should be screwed to the cover with allen cap head bolts/screws (remember to blue lok-tite these) that sucker vibrates loose and your done. Route the wire harness appropriately and bolt her up the the engine. Its been a couple of years since I've been into mine and this is my best recollection of what it took to swap the crash damaged cover. Again throw up some pics of what you have or how you think it should go and I'm sure someone will jump in with you.

true i will just look it up that way, thanks, there is 3 holes in my magneto so i am not sure how it all possitions in there. was a long time ago i tore it apart, thanks for the tip on the blue loc tite
