Hi guys, I have a slight problem... I was cleaning the carbs on my new(just got it) 92 Fzr 600 well 3 of the 4 pilot screws came out! The other one just snapped off the groove for the screw driver to grab on to. Does anyone know how I could possibly get it out?
Thanx, Cory

Ok how much is sticking out? any thing?
Ok for the future you guys:-
Always assume that if the screw is a different material to what it is in there is a good chance it is stuck !
so heat will help break the corrosion
Flat coca cola is also a great penetrating fluid DO NOT expose aluminium for too long to it as it will dislove the material in about 5 days
ALWAYS with brass use ascrew driver that is aGOOD fit in the slot
TOO big will cattle truck the slot
TOO small and it will slip and you end up like Yttaf & possible with the blade in your hand as well !!
Yttaf. let me know and I will tell you what can be done depending on your answer.

sorry the pictures aren't the greatest but the best I can get with my camera. Anyways, I had the proper screw driver to fit in the slot as I was able to get the other 3 out... I tried heating it with my propane torch with no luck & tried soaking it for a couple days in WD40

If you can turn it back in at all, that will help.
Then use a pick (the steel picks with a kink at the end..like a dental pick) and use it like a thread tap...work from the screw outwards...with the tip in the threads. Been my experience that those screws usually jam on a goober in the threads themselves .
and then a left hand drill bit is probably your best option at this point. Go sllloooowwww..make sure you are centered and it should grab and walk the screw out..
