Blinker issues, HELP!

I have a 93 fzr600

The Blinkers have been working fine until last week, nothing changed.
No matter which way I turn on the signals both front flash and nothing from the back, I can hear the tick out of the signal box, it seems kinda loud.
I have checked all the fuses and all are fine.

I've tried screwing around with the wiring but I cant see anything wrong???

Is there a chance the turn signal box has gone bad?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there power coming from both rear signal wires?
Check the connections for both sides while the signals are attached, after testing for power for proper connection. ( clean & put some electrical grease on them)
I would say the signal relay is fine because the front signals are working. It's got to be something with those wires for the rear...

When I put the blinkers back on my bike, they worked for a second, then the bulbs blew. I picked up a second pair of blinkers yesterday, installed them and they worked for about 15 min, then the same issue, both the bulbs blew again???

Could it be a ground issue, or could my LED blinkers in the front be causing a problem?

N,
you have an imbalance in the original circuit which is meant for bulbs all round. The combined load of two bulbs sets the blink rate .
If you then replace the front set with LED's the whole thing is unbalanced putting more thro the bulb than the bulb is built for which is why they blow.
You have two choices

revert to bulds all round and keep the original solonoid(winker) asssembly
OR
put LED's all round and buying a solenoid/ winker block designed for LED's

for sources of electronic winkers for LEDs see EBAY

Thanks Yamha George
I guess I will have to get some LED's for the rear and a winker block for LED's.

Thanks for all the help, I love this forum there are so many years of experience combined here.

I'll let you all know what the outcome is.

Ok, I installed the new front and rear blinkers..whala, teh signals work again.
They still blink irregularly when at idle, but when I bring the bike above 3k (rpm) they slow down to normal.

Any ideas?

Ground issue?
I checked all the connections and added electrical lube (no I didnt use KY).

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

NB,
Check the bulb wattages and what is written on the relay sounds like there is a slight mic-match put the info up here and we can check it out.(check all 4 bulbs do NOT take it as given that all four are the same !

hey guys I have a problem similar to this... sorta. maybe I can get help as well. All my blinkers work, but the left front marker light only works (the one that stays on when bike is on w/o any signaling). The left side blinks at normal rate, and the right blinks at a fast rate. This started to happen I connected my LED integrated signal mirrors up for a minute (i plugged them in and then unplugged them after seeing that they worked) then noticed my right side blinks faster as if there is no blub. So my main problem I guess is that the left front marker light stays on while the left right marker doesnt, and one side blinks faster than the other. suggestions?

BT,
As I wrote for some one else the blinker relay relise entirely on be loaded with the right power draw and that means that ALL the bulbs must be of equal wattage . take a look at yours also.

Just FYI, ask your state inspection guys if you need the marker lights to be working on your bike. Mine, here in TX, say they don't need to be on, they just need to blink.
