Need help with oil leak

I have had an oil leak in the oil seal around the crankshaft in the stator cover since i got my bike. I have replaced it 3 times and it is still leaking. There are no scores in the crankshaft or anything. This last time I put some white lithium grease on the seal and the shaft and it helped, it's not leaking nearly as bad but there is still a few drips every time I park the bike. I polished the crankshaft as well cause there was a tiny rust spot on it. ANY ideas of what else I can do? I gotta get this damn leak fixed. Thanks

Any odd vibes out of the bike? The crank could be out of balance or improperly torqed. Unbalanced flywheel maybe? Maybe the engine case halves werent torqued properly and the bores arent perfectly aligned. Has the crank been turned before and youre using the wrong seal maybe? Just throwing some ideas out there.

I do have a slight knock during idle. It's not pre-det or anything like that, just and odd vibe as you said.

Any other sugestions on what I can do to stop this damn leak.

Well, you gotta see if the crank and flywheel are straight-turning in a perfect circle...the best seals can't cope with excessive runout.
Get a dial indicator, and set it up to read the smooth edge of the flywheel.....pull the plugs and roll the engine over (by hand) and see if the dial indicator needle swings.
If the needle DOES swing....you need to find out if it is the flywheel, OR the crank itself. Mark the high spot on the flywheel...then remove it. Set up the dial indicator on the crank taper and roll it over again.....any needle swing on the D.I. ?
