sorry to be a pain but im only going to buy this fzr if i know it going to be easyish to fit
thanks

OK, here's the simple answer. No, don't buy the FZR.

Nothing from the FZR will fit the R6 motor. The sprockets won't line up, the motor won't fit the frame without modifying every engine mount. There will be lots of fabrication and you're on your own when it comes to doing it. It's never been documented so there is no paint by numbers.

The FZR black box will NOT work with the R6 engine. Not only are the pre-'06 R6 boxes CDI, not TCI like the FZR, the pick-up system is utterly different.

Either get an R6 chassis, TB / carbs exhaust electricals etc etc etc, or sell the R6 engine and get the FZR.

This ain't chocolate 'n peanut butter...

its your choice either you pick-up the fzr and easy doing the mods or you have to go for a complete r6 set up with no hasstle at all..
