FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

so im looking to rebuild the topend and i have no clue what gasket kit to get. some say 89 to 99, and some say 89 to 91then 92 to 99. i thought that the 91s and 92s have the same engine. i could be wrong that's why i figured i'd ask first. but thanks if anyone can tell me.

If we're talking an 89-99 US Spec FZR 600 than yeah the motor is pretty much the same for all years when it comes to the gaskets.

^^ agree. Thatkid and I got a complete gasket kit off ebay for around $70

it is just why cheaper and im kind of on a budget. all im realy doing is replaceing the valves. i think the engine was rebuilt once due to it still haveing cross hatch on the cylinder wall and there is i want to say date and in initials scratched into the crank case next to the starter. the valve are burnt from the guy before me running it with the carbs jacked and chock half open. but thanks
